Dhoni resigned from Test cricket in late December, giving over the captaincy of the Test group to Virat Kohli. He remains India’s chief in the shorter configurations.
When the ball was in his court to take the mike, Michael Clarke, the Australia chief, said he was certain Dhoni would keep on playing on for some time yet.
“I heard you inquire as to whether it will be his last World Cup,” Clarke said. “I’m almost certain its not going to be, there’s a ton of cricket left in his body yet.”
